After a ton of time spent the last few months trying to figure out what is going to be the best way for me to lose weight, I have finally come to a conclusion, and the answer is simple: I will eat clean and intuitively and focus on a healthy lifestyle. I have wasted so much time trying different things like counting calories, Weight Watchers, drinking shakes in the mornings, etc., and none of it has worked for me. Focusing on simply living a healthy lifestyle is what worked for me before and most recently (well, four years ago). Although this method may take a bit longer than the “quick fixes” I believe it is the best way for anyone to get to a healthy and happy weight, and should become a habit and lifestyle, not a diet.
I am so excited to officially start this journey and share it with you all! I find so much inspiration and motivation from following others out there, and am looking forward to hopefully inspiring and giving just one more person out there the motivation to start living a healthy lifestyle, which still can include delicious food by the way- all in moderation!
I do also want to say that this is what has worked best for me, and what I believe will work again. Other things might work for other people, and I don’t disagree with the way that works for you, but I do think that being mindful of what you are putting into your body is important regardless of if you are following a program or not. Each of our bodies are different and you need to find what works best for YOU!
