Chicken is my go-to lean protein, and chicken thighs are delicious, but they are pretty high in fat because of the skin and extra fat. Luckily, you can buy boneless, skinless chicken thighs to avoid some of it!
I always use Stubb’s Hickory Bourbon BBQ Sauce or Sweet Baby Ray’s. I marinade the chicken thighs with BBQ sauce and a drizzle of honey- sometimes I also use garlic powder for extra flavor.
Grilling is the only way I really enjoy most proteins, so that is always my preferred way of cooking, but you could also bake them in the oven.

It’s funny- I actually really don’t like the taste of honey! But anything with honey in the sauce is delicious! 🙂
