Steak, Veggies, Protein, Healthy Dinner I made one of the best meals I’ve probably ever made tonight!  Of course, it involved the grill- grilled food is the best food.

I threw a bunch of my favorite things together- I bought thin sirloin steaks for my protein and then had bell pepper, broccoli, carrots, asparagus, mushrooms, green onion, corn, cilantro, and queso fresco.

The steak was heavily seasoned with kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.  I tossed the bell pepper, broccoli, carrots, asparagus, and mushrooms with olive oil, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Steak, Veggies, Grilling, Healthy Food, Healthy Meals, Grilled Veggies The veggies take longer to cook than the steak so I started those first, and then threw on the steak for about 8- 10 minutes.  When the veggies were almost done I added the green onions.  While the steak and veggies were cooking, I also heated corn on the stove top.

You can put your own spin on this with any of your favorites- shrimp, chicken, zucchini, onions, jalapeños, cauliflower, snap peas, and whatever else you like!
