dinner, healthy eatingI rarely cook pork chops because they are usually just dry and they often lack in flavor.  For some reason I grabbed a pack of thin cut ones while grocery shopping this weekend though, and I’m glad I did!

dinner, healthy eatingI called my Dad on my way home tonight and asked how I can add flavor to the pork chops to make them enjoyable, and he suggested a few things.  One of the ways he cooks his is with Rib Rub, which he said will taste like a pork chop on a stick at the State Fair- that was all I needed to hear and I was sold!  Luckily I had Rib Rub in the cupboard.  I coated the pork chops with avocado oil first, and then heavily sprinkled both sides with the seasoning.  I grilled them until done and they cooked pretty quickly because they were so thin.

I also had sautéed snow peas that were cooked with avocado oil, soy sauce, and garlic powder!
