Three Days, 2.5 Pounds: A Quick Restart

After being at a plateau for a while now, I decided I needed to do something that would get me on the right track again. Cleanses that involve juices or fasting for long periods of time don’t work for me, so I knew I needed a quick something that would be realistic for me and make me feel good all around. When you are seeing a loss on the scale, you feel awesome and it makes you want to keep going so this is exactly what I needed. Disclosure: just because one thing works for one person, doesn’t mean it will work and be the same for another. Everyones bodies are different.

Below is what I ate Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday this week which got me right over my plateau!

Croutons weren’t in my plan but I was pretty hungry Wednesday night so I decided to add them to the salad to help fill me up.

This restart wasn’t meant to be restricting in any way. It was simply an attempt to get past a plateau in my weight loss journey by intentionally eating very clean and healthy for a couple of days. It felt so nice to not have meat for an entire three days and as hard as it is for me to not enjoy bread or potatoes, I feel awesome for pushing myself to go so long without those foods.
