I experimented with a cast iron skillet last night, and although I need practice with it, the marinade on the steak was still delicious! It was the same I used on my chicken breast the other night, which you can find here. I also added a little butter on the steak at the very end for extra flavor.
The sweet potato was a perfect side dish, which I pretty much ate with every bite of the steak (such a good combo). I steamed the sweet potato for a couple minutes in the microwave, and then finished in the air fryer for a few more minutes. I topped it with butter, ground cinnamon, and a tiny sprinkle of Truvia.
My broccoli and cauliflower was tossed with avocado oil, pink Himalayan salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and lemon pepper (thanks to my cousin) and then air fried until perfectly crispy on the outside.
Such a delicious, well balanced dinner!
